Dong Nai Brick and Tile Coporation - TUILDONAI, formerly known as Dong Nai Brick and Tile Factory, is a leading company in the production of high quality baked clay bricks and tiles, trusted by customers and has a process of formation, and long-term and stable development from the 40s of the 20th century up to now.

In 1952, Dong Nai Brick and Tile Coporation had only one workshop which is now Dong Nai Brick and Tile Factory 1, located in Tan Van commune, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province. It was equipped with automatic crushing, mixing, vacuum extrusion and cutting equipment line of the Federal Republic of Germany and one continuous kiln (Hoffmann kiln) and a number of Downdraft kiln with a capacity of 20 million blocks per year. In 1968, the company invested in developing another workshop that is presently Dong Nai Brick and Tile Factory 2 located in Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1. The company had the largest scale in the South specializing in manufacturing and trading building material products such as: fire clay bricks and tiles, refractory bricks, fine art ceramics, etc.

 

After April 30, 1975, the private owner donated to the Government to manage all assets with the name Dong Nai Brick and Tile Factory, headquartered at 119 Dien Bien Phu Street, Da Kao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City (Old address: 119 Phan Thanh Gian, Saigon), consisted of two workshops located in Dong Nai province, assigned to Building Material Company No. 1 - Ministry of Construction to manage.In 1991, Dong Nai Brick and Tile Factory invested in one more continuous kiln (LH3) with a capacity of 7.5 million tons per year at the Workshop in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park. In 1992, Dong Nai Brick and Tile Factory invested in a tunnel kiln (TN1) producing samot B and C refractory bricks with a capacity of 6,000 tons per yearn, and in 1993, the Factory invested in one more continuous kiln (LH2) with a capacity of 7.5 million tons per year at the Workshop in Tan Van.

 

In March 1995, Dong Nai Brick and Tile Factory was transformed into Dong Nai Brick and Tile Company under Decision No. 199/BXD-TCLD dated March 27, 1995 with the foreign trading name of TUILDONAI, including 2 members: 2 old workshops were upgraded to Factory 1 (Tan Van) and Factory 2 (Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1). In the same year, the intensive investment project at Factory 2 with modern synchronous production lines of Italy increased the company's capacity to 85 million blocks per year, which was a breakthrough development of the company. This was the first time  Vietnam has had an automatic forming line & flat roof tunnel kiln (TN2) with the largest capacity in Vietnam - 60 million blocks per year.In August 1995, the Ministry of Construction decided to merge Vinablock Enterprise which was a member unit of Construction Materials Corporation No. 1, a state-owned, independent enterprise, specializing in the production of granito bricks and block bricks, located in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, An Binh ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province, into the Company and it became Enterprise 3 of the Company.

 

In June 2002, the construction project of Factory 4 with brick and tile production lines and 02 flat-roof tunnel kilns (TN4.1 & TN4.2) in Khanh Binh commune, Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province was completed and went into operation with a capacity of 40 million blocks per year. At the same time, the company received two Khanh Binh Brick and Tile Enterprises 1 and 2 from Tan Uyen Mining & Mineral Processing Company with 02 tunnel kilns (TN4.3 & TN4.4) which increased the capacity of the whole Company up to 300 million blocks per year.In January 2004, the investment project of Viet Duc refractory factory with a capacity of 13,200 tons per year at the location of Factory 3 was completed. The main products are HA75 high-aluminum brick, fireclay brick (Samot) A, silicon carbide (SiC) plate, etc. with modern and synchronous technology and production lines of the Federal Republic of Germany. In 2004, the factory began to operate and produced the first products with similar quality to imported products and met the needs of many customers in the fields of: steel rolling, smelting, ceramics, cement...

 

In order to maintain and develop the brand of Dong Nai Brick and Tile Coporation – TUILDONAI as well as prepare for when Vietnam officially joining the World Trade Organization – WTO, in 2004, the Company started construction of Viet Duc Brick and Tile Factory, with a capacity of 1 million m2 of tiles per year - equivalent to 22 million tiles per year. With fully automatic technology and equipment of the Federal Republic of Germany from the processing of raw materials to the most modern finished products in Southeast Asia, the project had a total investment of 220 billion VND. In the first quarter of 2007, the factory launched the first baked clay roof tiles with superior quality of similar products on the market with large output, meeting the needs of the domestic as well as foreign markets.

 

Facing the booming demand for office rental market, Dong Nai Brick and Tile Company has invested in an office building project called TUILDONAI BUILDING with a total floor area of ​​3,420m2 at 119 Dien Bien Phu Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The bulding is located in the center of District 1 with a scale of 12 floors and a basement, equipped with modern equipment has been put into operation and leased since May 2005.Besides, in order to create initiative for the source of raw materials as well as develop basic products to meet the development requirements of construction (clay, sand, stone, etc), the Company has established Mining & Mineral Processing Factory in early 2005. Phuoc Hoa clay mine which had a planned area of ​​42ha with reserves of more than 6 million m3 of clay located in Phu Giao District, Binh Duong Province belonged to the Factory and exploited at the end of 2008.
